Application

Choose cold or warm therapy depending on the symptom and treat the affected area in short, controlled intervals. Always place a thin cloth between the compress and the skin to prevent thermal irritation.

• Cold therapy: Place the compress in the freezer at around -18 °C for at least 2 hours, then apply to the affected area for 15 to 20 minutes.
• Heat therapy (warm water): Immerse in hot water up to a maximum of 80 °C for approximately 4 minutes, then apply for 15 to 20 minutes.
• Heat therapy (microwave): Warm briefly at around 700 watts for roughly 10 seconds, check the temperature carefully, then apply for 15 to 20 minutes.
• After use, wipe the pouch with a mild cleanser, dry thoroughly and store ready for the next session.
