Application

Prepare the cup at the point of care, collect the sample, snap the lid firmly onto the rim, and label the container for transport or immediate analysis.

1. Wash and dry hands, then put on examination gloves before handling the cup.
2. Lift the red lid off the rim using the side tab and place it on a clean surface with the inner side facing up.
3. Instruct the patient to provide a mid-stream urine sample, filling the cup to the required graduation mark (25–125 ml).
4. Align the red lid squarely on the rim and press down around the full circumference until you hear and feel the snap closure engage.
5. Wipe the exterior with a disinfectant wipe if needed, then apply a label with the patient ID, date, and collection time.
6. Decant through the integrated spout when transferring to secondary tubes, or transport the sealed cup upright to the laboratory.
